This event takes place by special arrangement with Marrakesh House in Culver City, California 90232 the showcase green remodel private residence of filmmaker and avant-environmentalist Chris Paine (Who Killed the Electric Car?). Your attendance will mark a significant commitment in support of this very special International Climate Action Day in support of 350.org.  Learn more about why 350 ppm – is the safe upper limit for atmospheric CO2. So far more than 100 nations are taking part—it's shaping up to be to be the biggest day of grassroots action on global warming ever. There in the relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful setting you will enjoy a superb six course tasting dinner prepared by Chef Rico. He has personally sourced all major ingredients to find artisanal purveyors as close to this venue as possible. Locally sourced food is not complete without locally sourced wine. Chef Rico has gone out of his way to source local wines. He has found a local gem in the wonderful Tim Skogstrom of Cornell Tasting Room who will supply the wines for the evening. Tim has selected a fine blend of wines from the Malibu Appellation along with some of the other regions in California to create just the right balance to blend perfectly and pair with each course. 

Plus, within the ecological wonder that is Mr. Paine’s grand dwelling, you will enjoy a specially arranged tour of the 21st century solar powered masterpiece, sample this season's produce from his victory garden and benefit from engaging speakers and fellow tablemates such as by Shellie Collier, expert on green project management and Christy Wilhelmi, expert on gardening and founder of gardenerd.com who are at the forefront of ensuring we live in a more environmentally friendly world.
