Let's explore the world of the natural landscape that is in our own backdoor, the Santa Monica mountains. This vast mountain range located in Los Angeles county is home to varied wildlife as well as a rich history. From the Chumash indians who once inhabited this region to the establishment of small settlements during the late 1800's. As a country retreat in the early parts of the 20th century and a backdrop for Hollywood many films and TV shows. The Santa Monica mountain range offers a varied landscape and many photographic opportunities to capture. 
A unique adventure in the Santa Monica Mountains. Let's explore the photographic possibilities as I take you to some of the unique spots to photograph the natural landscape and hidden treasures of the Santa Monica Mountains. After an afternoon of exploring and shooting we will go to one of the wine tasting rooms where we will learn a bit about wine and do a private wine tasting of some of the local wines of the region another well kept secret. After our wine tasting we'll dine and go over some of the images that we created on the day's shoot.
This experience is about the interaction between ourselves and the environment around us, about meeting new people, immersing ourselves into our surroundings and learning how to create better images. The workshop is limited in size so we can make the most of our time. The workshop is open to all who have a desire to improve their photographs.
