Santa Ynez Culinary & Wine Experience

Imagine a weekend filled with a unique experience in the culinary and viticultural arts. A weekend kept at a leisurely pace away from the crowds and traffic of the city. In a place that is highly picturesque filled with rolling hills, aged oaks and farms, ranches and  vineyards as far as the eye can see. Welcome to the Santa Ynez Wine region and our Culinary Wine Experience.

The experience encompasses 6 vineyards each one completely unique in so many respects. You’ll meet the owners and wine makers, walk the vineyards, taste their wines and learn each of their unique stories. 4 of the six are not open to the public. The other two are offering us a completely unique experience not available to he general public.  You’ll experience a Greek feast complete with whole lamb and plenty of wine to enjoy with it. And if that’s not enough what about an Argentinean style BBQ with locally raised pork and beef and produce provided by the local growers.

We have made special arrangements with the Santa Ynez Inn a wonderful Luxury Victorian B&B. You’ll be greeted with some small plates and wine to relax with upon arrival. Then we’ll enjoy our welcome dinner where you will get to meet some of the vineyard owners. It promises to be a fun casual evening where you’ll get to know each other a bit and find out what’s in store for the weekend.

Each morning you’ll be treated to a gourmet breakfast and have the option of going on a photo walk with chef/photographer Rico Mandel, your host for the weekend. Around 11:00 am each morning we’ll be picked up by our luxury transportation that will take us on our day. All transportation is provided for you throughout the experience.

As an extra bonus each person will receive a signed and numbered limited edition photograph from Rico Mandel exclusively for the guests on this experience.

The weekend will be magical, filled with so many divergent wineries, culinary experiences and wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
